Capabilities

The equipment that moves and processes bulk materials.

Four decades of building process equipment for the chemical, textile, and carpet industries — designed, fabricated, and installed in-house, and backed long after start-up.

Silos & tanks

Bulk storage for dry filler and liquids — fabricated, delivered, and installed to spec.

Mixing & compounding

Latex and polyurethane compounding plants, mixers, agitators, and continuous super-blenders.

Conveying systems

Mechanical and pneumatic transfer — dense- and dilute-phase — for powders and bulk solids.

Foaming & froth

Foam generators that cut compound use 20–50% by diluting coatings and adhesives with air.

Pumps & parts

Progressing-cavity pumps and replacement parts for Monoflo, Moyno, and most other makes.

Installation & service

On-site installation, start-up, and stocked replacement parts that ship the same day.

The engineer behind the equipment.

Tech Design Consulting is led by Lamar Brown, who holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering and has spent over forty years in the design, fabrication, and installation of process equipment for the chemical, textile, and carpet industries. Tech Design Consulting was established in 2009.

Today he brings that same engineering depth to your plant directly: scoping the job, designing the system, and standing behind the install. Most suppliers sell you a part. We've spent forty years engineering the whole system — and we still pick up the phone.

Progressing-cavity pump parts

The part that fits — not the whole new pump.

Rotors, stators, and replacement parts for most makes of progressing-cavity pump. The cost of repairing your equipment is often far less than replacing it.
